hahaha my, my, I have a lot to do to spiff this thing back up. First and foremost, I guess I'm gonna have to find an html wizard. LOL eh. Hmm geez what HAS been going lately...
Junior year has been a great time so far.Except math. Math is like a scar on a beautiful face. Like that one booger that you can't reach. LOL. Graphic. *sigh* It's been so long that it seems as if I've forgotten how to blog. With good reason, too hahah its not like I have all that much to talk about.
I've been reading the Da Vinci Code! I know that I'm , like, hella late to the party, but oh my gosh I can't believe that I haven't read this sooner. I guess it's because I'm Catholic and I was kind of hesitant to read something the pope himself dubbed blasphemous. But hey, it's fiction. It won't hurt anybody. So, my cousin loaned it to me and I decided, "what the hey!"
...it's been about a month now and I'm a little more than halfway done with it. Haha, I know, it's not my usual reading speed...but one of the downsides to being a full time student [and a full time procrastinator] I never find the time to read it. Anyway! I love it so far; it's full of suspense and all that stuff people would call "dirty history." Haha, this Dan Brown guy really knows how to write...you can hardly tell he's making half of it up. LOL. I guess it's because Christian history is so sacred, it's intimidating. So that's probably why people don't dwell too much on it...and why they get so worked up when people DO research and think thoughts that contradict the faith itself. But ah, I prattle. Go read it yourself :] tehe.
HMMM... New Moon...ah, I'm starting to hate the Twilight series with a passion now. For one thing, why is that Bella chick so perfect? She's pretty, smart, witty...hardly any flaws. And her physical description matches that of the author herself [except idealized a bit] HMMM...makes ya wonder huh? And dear Edward...the perfect "antihero" stereoptype. The only thing he's doing to the world is giving girls a ditsy interpretation of how a guy "should" be. I dunno about you guys, but I have never met a guy like Edward Cullen in my life. Haha, on the subject, I heard of a girl on yahoo answers who asked the world if breaking up with her boyfriend [who was a totally great guy] for Edward Cullen was a good thing. She had plane tickets to go to Washington to look for him. Nice move, dip shit. Anyway, back to my point... The Twilight Series is a giant ditsy fan fiction where ditsy little high school girls trap themselves in their own little world and refuse to get a reality check. AGH. Ok I need to stop before I pop a vein.
But just to prove my point...
